Yes. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment and provide peace of mind. We partner with Faye Insurance to offer coverage for your trip from departure to return.
When you book with Herrick Road Maps, you have an advocate. If disruptions occur, we work with our partners to help resolve issues, adjust plans, and support you during your trip whenever possible.
For the best availability, we recommend starting 6–12 months in advance for international travel and popular destinations. For peak seasons, holidays, cruises, or multi-generational trips, starting even earlier is ideal.
Absolutely. Based on your interests, travel style, accessibility needs, and budget, we provide curated destination ideas and personalized recommendations.
Great! We’re happy to book specific hotels or properties you’ve selected and may be able to add exclusive perks through our partner programs.
Yes. We have access to many VRBO-style properties through our booking channels, though not every listing is available. If you’d like us to research properties outside our channels, a service fee may apply. We’ll always provide an estimate before beginning.
Yes. We can arrange luxury villas, private residences, and select vacation rentals through vetted partners to ensure quality, service, and reliability.
Many bookings are commission-based, meaning hotels and suppliers compensate us directly. If a planning fee applies, for example, for extensive itinerary design, in-depth destination research, or a personalized accessibility plan, we’ll always provide a clear estimate before moving forward. No surprises.
Yes. We can arrange private airport transfers, chauffeur services, rail tickets, and other ground transportation. We also book car rentals worldwide and coordinate them with your itinerary.
It depends. In some cases we can book flights for you, or we may recommend booking them directly so you can maximize your credit card reward points. For international travel, we work with concierge air services that specialize in premium economy, business class, and first-class flight options.
Not at all. While we can coordinate your entire trip for a seamless experience, you’re welcome to book only the portions where you’d like assistance such as hotels, tours, transfers, or a full itinerary.
Yes. You’ll continue to earn hotel loyalty points and enjoy eligible elite status benefits. In many cases, our preferred partner programs also add extra perks.
