In the Heart of Sedona
L’Auberge de Sedona embodies understated elegance, blending seamlessly into the breathtaking red rock landscape and the tranquil flow of Oak Creek. Although my husband and I stayed for just one night, the experience remains one of our fondest travel memories. From arrival to departure, the ambiance was calming, refined, and deeply connected to nature.
We especially enjoyed simply strolling the peaceful grounds and were repeatedly drawn to the creekside setting. It quickly became our favorite place for morning coffee and an after-dinner drink by the Creekside Firepit. The gentle sound of flowing water paired with the warm glow of the fire created an intimate, relaxing atmosphere that encouraged presence and quiet connection.
Dining at Cress on Oak Creek elevated the experience even further. The nationally recognized cuisine is truly exceptional and well deserving of its reputation. The windows overlook the creek, providing a serene backdrop that enhances every meal. The thoughtful balance of fine dining and natural beauty makes Cress on Oak Creek an experience in itself.
Our room in The Lodge served as a cozy retreat, complete with a private balcony overlooking the surrounding landscape. The Lodge also features a beautifully appointed common area with a fireplace and inviting seating—perfect for gathering, reading, or unwinding. L’Auberge offers a variety of accommodations, including The Lodge, The Cliffs, The Cottages, and The Creekhouse, each thoughtfully designed to suit couples, families, small groups, or larger parties seeking a private home-style setting.
This luxury retreat is ideal for nature lovers seeking refined amenities. Guests can enjoy rejuvenating treatments at the Creekside Spa and L’Apothecary Spa, yoga and wellness offerings, the Duck Pond Cliffside Pool & Bar, and curated experiences such as metaphysical classes and art events. With its serene creekside setting, L’Auberge is also a stunning venue for weddings, private celebrations, and special events.
Located in the heart of Sedona, the resort is an ideal home base for exploring iconic sites like Devil’s Bridge and Tlaquepaque Village. We ventured onto Devil’s Bridge, and while I’m glad I experienced it once, the narrow span certainly lives up to its name. Tlaquepaque Village is a must-visit for its vibrant arts scene and architecture that reflects Sedona’s natural surroundings. For a more adventurous experience, a Pink Jeep Tour offers access to rugged terrain beyond standard vehicles, and the Grand Canyon is just a 2½-hour drive away.
Though this trip was adults-only, we look forward to returning with our children. As a family passionate about inclusive travel—especially for our son with CHARGE Syndrome—learning that L’Auberge offers fully accessible rooms was especially meaningful and reinforces our belief that luxury travel can and should be inclusive.
Whether visiting as a couple, family, or multigenerational group, L’Auberge de Sedona offers a peaceful, luxurious retreat where nature and wellness come together beautifully.
