KMAC offers numerous opportunities for visitors to experience art through the museum, tours, education, workshops, special events and more. KMAC is notable for its commitment to being inclusive by offering large print handouts of wall text, audio transcription of films, guided tours with verbal description, and wheelchairs are available upon availability. Rabbit Hole Distillery Tour
Rabbit Hole Distillery is one of the newer additions to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and is widely recognized for its iconic, modern architecture. Located along the historic Whiskey Row in the NuLu area of downtown Louisville. This distillery blends contemporary design with the heritage of Kentucky bourbon. Gallrein Farms
BRICK visited Gallrein Farms in the fall which is a popular time to visit since Gallrein is known for its fall activities involving pumpkin picking, hayrides and corn mazes. It is a family-owned farm in Shelbyville, KY and offers a variety of seasonal activities, a market selling their fresh produce which is grown on-site and a cafe. The grounds are what would be anticipated when going to a farm such as uneven terrain, grass and gravel while exploring the property. Falls of the Ohio
BRICK visited The Falls of the Ohio State Park which is a historical site, known for extensive fossil beds. What was once home to a series of rapids and waterfalls before the construction of the locks and dams, the falls played a crucial role in early navigation and settlement along the Ohio River. Now, visitors can learn about the history of the falls and the fossils which are estimated to be about 390 million years old by visiting the museum.
