Vernon Lanes

Vernon Lanes is the oldest bowling alley in Kentucky and the 4th oldest in the country and is located in downtown Louisville off Story Ave. It is known for its nostalgia of bowling before machines kept score and having real wood vintage bowling lanes. They offer a full service bar and food. The event space features pool tables, pinball, darts and an arcade. BRICK noticed that there were accessible ramps to get into the bowling alley, down to the bowling lanes and into the bathroom. The bathrooms are single bathrooms that are accessible. BRICK liked the feeling of going “back in time” but preferred the modern amenities of automatic score keeping.
