KMAC Contemporary Art Museum
BRICK visited KMAC Contemporary Art Museum in downtown Louisville. KMAC features rotating exhibits and permanent exhibits. KMAC offers numerous opportunities for visitors to experience art through the museum, tours, education, workshops, special events and more. KMAC is notable for its commitment to being inclusive by offering large print handouts of wall text, audio transcription of films, guided tours with verbal description, and wheelchairs are available upon availability. It is an autism friendly business and is wheelchair accessible. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our group. BRICK participants enjoyed the museum and played fun games such as scavenger hunts within the museum by taking pictures of the art on their scavenger hunt. This gave them a fun way to explore the art in the museum.
